Many years ago I had a deep discussion on a radio broadcast with Dr. Arsuaga from Atapuerca project. I told him that Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons, obviously, ought to have progeny together. He said: Impossible. Now they assumed that and they threw their papers on the basket. Also he didn´t belelieve neanderthals would had been "religious", now we know they really were.
