Maurindaa is a cyber friend of mine who rocks so fine. She plays guitar good and sings even better. You know she´s one of our favs. Maura is a hippie, so she´s on the bus and the bus is grated to take her with us to never ever land.
Witch Mercatoria is allways chasing dollars in the net. Her sons the ugly "dwarflawyers" had began a prosecution against Maurindaa, trying to forbide her posts of own covers with an interesed interpretation of the author rights.
We want to tell Mercatoria and the "dwarflawyers" that when an author sings own songs there´re two kinds of rights to protect. The one that´s born over the composition and another over the playing inself. The composition could be played, as we play Mozart and other partitures, and only if you earn money with the cover you´ve to pay to the author. The own interpretation is so personal and I can´t post Hotel California original Eagles cover as my own.
There´s a recognized right for everybody to make "art over art". Just remember Mozart Operas where he included popular tunes of his time that weren´t compossed by him (Non piu andrai, for example).
